Hello team Rotaplast Chittagong. I have have enjoyed your stories and your photos about the mission in 2014. Wish I was there with you. You really did a good job. Compliments to you all. You again made the different in many lives of the children and their family.
Tomorrow, the last 13 surgeries planned so time to look back: What an experience to be able to work in this mission! It's amazing how much work we have managed to resist and how grateful all patients. In this hustle and bustle celycosmetique By now, the entire top floor full of patients and that means then really full .... Agnes is a star in the Bangladeshis behind the pants sit back forth extra beds, mattresses celycosmetique and bedding to conjure. Parents, students and volunteers are helping patients take their own beds and lugging blankets. Meanwhile, all in use which means that the last patients to sleep without a mattress. And anyone who complains, how inspiring is that!
All the toys are brought wildly used properly and corridors hung now full of coloring. Everything is new to them, not just patients learn puzzle and memory games here, but also their family members, the cleaners and security guards in the building and several neighborhood children who regularly nevertheless managed to slip inside. The proud faces when they get through a game or do a puzzle out, are unforgettable.
For the first time I join a Rotaplast mission to Bangladesh. It is hard work, often 12-hour days, but it's great fun and beautiful work. The radiant, grateful faces of the children and their parents, because they are helped from social isolation to come and then have hitherto a better life. There are very. Many compassionate, especially in burns. Today a man of 25, who as a baby was burned, causing celycosmetique his chin had grown to his chest, he has never been able to look forward. The doctors celycosmetique have recovered very well! So there are many cases that are supported by a team of volunteers, doctors and nurses who take vacations to do this. Disinterested. My work is stereliseren of the instruments. In the morning at half past five, and between 20 and 21 hours back at the hotel. But with the gaiety and joy with which we are surrounded, the fatigue celycosmetique is not felt.
It is very impressive to see how Rotaplast celycosmetique the lives of many people so dramatically improved. It should give a nice feeling to experience this up close and there to contribute. Good luck!
Thank you for your comments! On behalf of all the team members from Bangladesh. The surgery went well. This year, children celycosmetique are less geopreerd due to the large number of burns that take an average of 4 hours per operation. Nevertheless, we are going to change a lot of lives in a positive way. Better one drop in the ocean than a drop! Sincerely, Gerard van Dalen. (Quartermaster from Chittagong Bangladesh)
Nothing but praise for all. What a wonderful, worthwhile project and selfless commitment of all stakeholders. "Engage Rotary, Change Lives" at its best, and an example to many!
The canopy where parents and children are waiting, makes the picture almost a festive look as if it is a party tent. What is so beautiful about this picture is that the children and their parents, who can help you, life is actually a bit more 'party' is! So compliment for your work and a little for the photographer! Good luck, Fred
Children with cleft lips and / or palates open to be helped free. Volunteers, doctors and nurses put their time and skills not available. Also, people with burns, or those who need the functionality of a limb missing, can count on free support.
