I have long suffered from pet allergies. This past winter the allergies went from bad to worse. One of my eyes, for some unknown reason, had begun to water CONSTANTLY, causing me to rub and wipe my eye all day long. My makeup would run and I was frustrated with the irritation. Eventually, the top and bottom eyelid developed severe dry patches that were incredibly unsightly. Trying to combat this, I used tweezers to peel off the flakes of skin and I was applying and re-applying moisturizer about every hour or so (had to keep redoing it as my eye was still watering like crazy). Additionally, I was popping antihistamines daily.
This went on for about 2 months . I tried every type of moisturizing product I could get my hands on, but the patches got worse and my eyelids were now swelling up.
