Advent calendar # 24: Certificate of bleed organic


I like and read a lot, at least as far as my daily routine it can. Maybe sometimes it gives the impression that only the Internet I read (articles, communities, etc.), this prejudice, however, I would like to clean up times now - I read books! Mostly, however, my selection of literature consists of works that have precious little to do with the issues that I deal mainly little (fantasy, historical novels, classic literature). Now I have but actually even a book with vegan reference read "Decent food" by Karen Duve. Short summary: Karen Duve is a Normalverbraucherin as there are they for the most part in our society. She swears by Diet Coke and chocolate, is happy to oblige the grill pan on sale, etc. Living with her roommate (vegetarian) raises numerous questions: "Can we eat animals when you should not eat animals, then why plants What is the? man willing to sacrifice for his personal enjoyment Where does our compassion and where we close our eyes to these questions, they move to a self-experiment, for one month, she is dedicated to different diets under the aspect of "eat decent" - which include health food, vegetarian? , vegan and frutarisch. At the same time they come back to the respective world view of the diets apart. I devoured the book., the author describes as fully their motivations, their experiences that change their world and remains absolutely down to earth. Her final conclusion appears authentic and merciless recommended honest with their environment and especially with himself. absolute
Reading the book inspired me to write a separate experiment, which I will start in the new year - and I anticipate that it not only comes to decent food with me (live already vegan), but rather the experience of different movements in the vegan scene (Diet / Health, raw food, possibly Frutarian). I hope that my motivation to not disappear ;)

I got my first made least one month per sub-experiment - let's see how it goes ;) The sport is more of a hobby, I know ;) I'm doing it more to the fraction "lose weight and get fit by vegan diet" ala Attila.
